Gen 15-17; Luke 6
Scripture: “Don’t judge or condemn people for what they’ve done to you; God doesn’t condemn you for the hurts you have caused Him. He forgives you. Treat others the same way. Have a giving attitude in all you do and you’ll get back more than you give. God will return blessings to you abundantly—packed in and flowing over. Whatever you give out to others will be given back to you.” Luke 6: 37, 38
Observation: God wants His people not to be in judgment of each other, but rather having forgiveness for one another and in doing so we will be blessed.
Application: Do not judge your brothers or sisters, but have an understanding of their misconceptions. If someone talks lies behind your back about you do not go behind theirs to get back at them and tell lies about them. Show them great mercy as our Lord would by example of how a Christian should act.
Prayer: Dear Lord give me the wisdom of understanding one another and not to listen to gossip or lies of my fellow Christians. Help me not to judge another person for we know all judgment belongs to you.
